Microsoft’s senior director Albert Penello has come forward today and said that backwards compatibility is a distinct possibility using Microsoft’s Azure Cloud Servers. He said that they could stream older games to the console in a manner similar to PlayStation’s Gaikai service. While neither service has confirmed that these proposed services will be available Day 1, it is reassuring to know that the machine has the ability to carry over the immense Xbox 360 library to the Xbox One.
