Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot has revealed today that the Wii U Exclusive title, ZombiU, was not “even close” to being profitable. Considering the impact of this statement, it is safe to assume that there are no sequel plans for this game. Guillemot even said that due to the performance of ZombiU, Rayman Legends went from a Wii U exclusive to a multi-platform release.

This news is hard to swallow seeing as the Wii U has been struggling since its launch late last year.  If this lack of 3rd party support continues, Nintendo will have a steep challenge to tackle; supporting its own console.
