When gamers found out that Ubisoft’s The Crew was only going to the Xbox 360, people got rather upset and demanded an answer as to why the PS3 was overlooked. Today, Ubisoft addressed those concerns with the following statement:
“The Crew was originally built for the new generation of consoles, so when we made the decision to port it to the previous generation, we decided to focus solely on the platform closest to the new-gen’s technical infrastructure, which is the Xbox 360,” an Ubisoft representative said in a statement to Kotaku.
While this makes sense, it is still disappointing to know that PS3 users will miss out on a port for this impressive racer.
