It’s that time of the year again, with E3 is right around the corner. This year’s E3 will no doubt be filled with amazing announcements and games, much like every other year, but Square Enix is giving some insight to fans of the Hitman franchise prior to the event. Today, Square Enix has announced a new competitive sniper game set in the Hitman universe, Hitman: Sniper. With the success of Hitman GO, Square Enix Montreal decided to keep the franchise going on mobile devices, with Hitman: Sniper being available exclusively for mobile and tablet devices.

From the press release:

Hitman: Sniper will be launching later this year with numerous levels full of creative opportunities to manipulate the environment, guards, and targets to complete the hit.  It is also designed to deliver a game experience that is built for touch screen devices and takes full advantage of the possibilities offered by the platform and will contain leaderboard driven challenges for players to compete against their friends. The game will also be F2P to increase the level of leaderboard competition.

Additionally, Hitman: Sniper will be available for fans to play on the E3 show floor. But have no fear, even if you aren’t attending the industry event, you can still get a sneak peak during the Square Enix Presents cast between 12:30pm to 1:00pm PST.
