Multiple sources have confirmed that Sony is working on a new virtual reality gaming peripheral, set to be announced officially in 2014, that will be going toe-to-toe with the Oculus Rift. This new device was originally slated to appear at Gamescom but it was pulled at the last minute. There is not much information leaking about the new peripheral but evidence is building quickly that this rumor has legs.
