Good news–Sony has improved the video streaming capabilities of the PlayStation Store. The new format will be faster and more efficient than what’s currently available. Before Sony unleashes the upgrade though, they want to beta test it. That’s where you come in.
Sony is letting anyone who wants to take part in the beta trial give it a try. If you would like to test out the beta yourself, all you have to do is log on to the Playstation store and go to the movies section. You should see the beta section on the front page. The best news is that the movies available here are heavily discounted; HD movies are $1.99 and SD movies are only $.99, as Sony‘s way of thanking you for helping them with their test.
