On the heels of Microsoft’s sales announcement, Sony has released the latest sales figures for the PlayStation 4 and they have been impressive. According to the latest report, Sony sold 4.2 million which is over 1.2 million more units than the Xbox One as of December 28, 2013. These numbers are global numbers, so it seems PlayStation is taking the early lead.
