simcity-to-return-in-2013-1

According to Maxis general manager Lucy Bradshaw, SimCity is getting its act together. She states “I’m happy to report that the core problem with getting in and having a great SimCity experience is almost behind us. Our players have been able to connect to their cities in the game for nearly 8 million hours of gameplay time and we’ve reduced game crashes by 92% from day one.”

EA has been working around the clock to stabilize the game and several new servers were brought online to support the game. Admittedly, the game is still not 100% problem free, but most gamers should be able to get into the game and play. Bradshaw mentions that they are very close to 100% stabilization and it should be achieved in a few days.
