Sega has just announced that their Australia Studio branch will be closing their doors soon. The branch was responsible for the London 2012 tie-in game, Stormrise, Medieval 2: Total War and Medieval 2: Total War – Kingdoms.

According to the official release from Sega:

[gn_quote style="1"]“As we are under consultation with the studio we cannot comment on the particulars of the situation, however we can confirm that sadly the Australian studio will be closing its doors later this year”[/gn_quote]

We wish nothing but the best for those effected.
