According to Kotaku, there is word that EA Sports representatives have told attendees at Gamestop‘s annual expo that NBA Live 13 will strictly be a downloadable only game for PSN and Xbox Live for $20. Apparently EA has decided to take a new direction with its NBA Live franchise, changing from disc to digital.
The site IRB Gamer, who is attending the expo, said that October was given as the month of release, but the exact date was not given. Another rumor suggests it’s possible that the game could come out on or a couple days before the NBA tipoff on October 30.
