Today, the Kickstarter for Red Ash, Kenji Inafune’s spiritual successor to Megaman Legends, has fallen $280,000 short of its $800,000 goal. While this seems like bad news, the game is still going to be made and released on the PC, PS4 and Xbox One due to the fact that they received funding from Chinese company Fuze Entertainment.  The Red Ash inspired anime, Red Ash Magicicida, will also be released due to the fact that the anime was fully funded receiving over $150,000. Speculation points to the fact that The Mighty No 9 has not yet been released which was Inafune’s first Kickstarter and skepticism has swirled around this project since the beginning.
