As part of the fallout of the Newtown shootings, President Obama has called on the Center for Disease Control and Prevention to study the effects of violent video games, images and media has on young minds. The President has set aside $10M dollars for the research. This action comes after Vice President Biden met with the leaders of the video game industry to discuss their impact on society. Hopefully, these studies can turn the attention of the public away from the video game industry.
