Skylanders has taken the world by storm and even Disney is getting into the collectible figurine / video game space. Now we get a first look at a Japanese trailer showing off the figurines and some gameplay. If you are a fan of Pokemon, this promises to be one of the more engrossing games in the series. It also has the potential to match Skylanders success.

Watch out Activision.

Take a look and let us know what you think below. Pokemon Rumble U will launch on April 24th in Japan for 1800 Yen, and the initial figures will be available: Torchic, Piplup, Lucario, Victini, Bulbasaur, and Pikachu. If this game does well, we may see a Western release yet.
