Today, Sony announced that the PlayStation TV will launch on October 14th for $99.99 or in a bundle for $139.99 that comes with a DualShock 3 controller and The Lego Movie video game. This product was known at the PlayStation Vita TV in Japan but changed names in the crossover to the USA.

The intent of the device is a video streaming box, but it can also remote play via the PS4 or play anything streamed via the PlayStation Now service. For $99, that isn’t a bad deal at all.
