Playstation Now is Sony’s game streaming service that launched last month with a whole bunch of Playstation 3 games.  To celebrate the coming of this particularly lovely February, Sony is adding Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, God Of War 2 HD, and three more titles to the service.

Playstation Now operates on a monthly subscription basis, much like Netflix and Spotify.  Users have the option of paying $19.99 a month or $44.99 for three months ($15 a month, just about) to get unlimited access to the library of Playstation 3 games. This can get pricy, especially if you pay for a 20 dollar Playstation Plus membership on top of it all.

Sony has promised continuous expansion of the Playstation Now library, and they’re kicking it off with Uncharted 2, God Of War 2 HD, Red Faction: Armageddon, Galaga Legions DX, and Arcana Heart 3.

Those first two titles need no introduction.  Red Faction: Armageddon is the latest in the dearly-departed THQ’s Red Faction series.  The last entry in the franchise to be developed by Volition, it’s a pretty conventional third-person shooter.

Galaga Legions DX is a neon-soaked bullet hell shooter that looks more like a fever dream than anything resembling the original arcade game.

Finally, Arcana Heart 3 is a 2D fighting game with 23 playable characters, insane super moves, and beautiful hand-drawn models and animations.

Sony has very recently announced their newest service, Playstation Music, which will bring Spotify streaming to compatible devices.  Music Unlimited is gone, and Sony Online Entertainment has just been sold off the Sony brand as Daybreak Game Company.
