Nintendo has just announced that UK gamers will be able to purchase an 8 GB Basic Bundle of the Wii U for £149.99. That is the second straight price drop for the system in less than two months. Back in March, the Wii U price dropped an initial £50 to £200, in most locations, from the original MSP. This most recent price drop is another, new reduction of £50 to £149.99. This drop seems to be for the Basic Starter bundle only, Wii U Premium bundles have kept their regular price. However, the Premium bundles may see a price drop soon as well.
