The ever popular free-to-play Team Fortress 2 from Valve is getting a co-operative game mode, releasing on the 15th of August. The new mode is called 'Mann vs Machine” and challenges players to survive for as long as possible as a team against waves of robot enemies who are trying to plant a bomb. The mode supports 6 players working together and will include new specifically
designed maps. Multiple enemy types are present in the game, most based on existing classes within Team Fortress 2, including a robot version of the medic, scout and heavy classes. Also present are “giant” robots which are stronger than the regular enemies and include a specially upgraded version of the soldier, scout, and heavy classes.
The release of this free mode continues Valve's trend of providing new content for games without any extra charge, which is great news for co-op gaming fans!
