From the creators of Hitman there’s something big coming, in the form of free-to-play World War 2 shooter Heroes & Generals. PC gamers have been treated to a flurry of excellent F2P games in the past few months such as Tribes Ascend and Blacklight Retribution, with Firefall on the horizon. Battles are persistent and cover massive maps that can be traversed on foot, jeep, tank, plane or even bicycle. And now the game has left the alpha stage and entered closed beta and you can sign up for a key right here. We’ll be covering Heroes & Generals in the coming months so check back here for a preview soon!

  • I’m got in the Alpha, I was quite chuffed I can’t really talk about it, but it is pretty awesome.

Yeah same, played a few hours and it’s pretty fun. Just been waiting for more of the serious bugs to get sorted and i’d like to see bigger battles rather than smaller localised battles scattered over the map.
