For those unfamiliar, Kickstarter and IndieGoGo are two crowd sourcing sites which allow an individual or company to approach the internet at large with an idea. Users can then decide to help fund the project of their choosing. Each donation to the cause will yield certain rewards to entice people to invest and invest heavily. Recently, gaming companies have been using these platforms to reach gamers directly to fund their dream projects. Even some of the larger studios like Double Fine have used this platform to fund a reach project of theirs.

Most recently Jane Jensen of Pinkerton Road Studios (Gabriel Knight, Gray Matter, King’s Quest VI) is using Kickstarter to fund her latest project, Moebius as well as, another untitled adventure game.
