Game Director Tore Blystad and Community Manager Travis Barbour, of IO Interactive, walk viewers through a lengthy demonstration of Hitman: Absolution’s new mode “Hitman Contracts” in this video. The video demonstrates how players can create their own custom contracts and share them with the online community.

To create a contract, a player must perform the contract in the game. Basically. a player must enter the level where they want to create a contract and mark the targets they want to assassinate. They can then choose how they want to kill their marks. Several parameters are recorded when creating a contract, including the specific weapons that were used to dispatch the targets, the clothing Agent 47 is wearing during the contract, if the player is spotted, how long the contract took to complete, etc.

There appears to be plenty of variety in how to approach each scenario in the game. When the game releases later this year, you can be sure that the Hitman: Absolution community will create some insanely difficult contracts for players to attempt.

Hitman: Absolution, developed by IO Interactive and published by Square Enix, is set to be released globally on November 20th, 2012 for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC.
