Capcom has announced Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen, a “major expansion” to the surprise hit action-RPG. The expansion is due for release in 2013 the publisher today confirmed at TGS while remaining quiet on the details. Dragon’s Dogma fans can also look forward to some free DLC in the form of a speedrun mode and hard mode to be released before the end of the year. Each of these modes contain specific rewards for gamers who can beat them. Dragon’s Dogma was released in May and went on to sell over one million copies world wide. Following the success Capcom announced that Dragon’s Dogma would become one of their core franchises. A teaser trailer for the expansion can be seen below.
