EA has decided not to comment on the story stating that they do not comment on rumors and speculation.  KKR and Providence Equity Partners have chosen to keep quiet on the rumor as well.  EA isn't the only major game publisher attempting to sell, media conglomerate Vivendi is also seeking buyers for it's stake in World of Warcraft and Call of Duty publisher Activision Blizzard.
