Masahiro Sakurai, the creator of the Super Smash Bros. franchise, has revealed that he is currently working on moves for a group of brand new characters for the upcoming Wii U version of Super Smash Bros. Althoug

h he didn't say too much, Mr. Sakurai did mention at the Computer Entertaintment Developers Conference in Tokyo over the weekend that he was “having fun making new skills for new characters.”

It's hard to know exactly who the new characters might be. They're are a wide range of characters from different video game franchises that could make an appearance but it's hard to tell at this point. Super Smash Bros. Wii U began development back in June and is given roughly a 2013 release date. The game is being co-developed by Namco Bandai.
