Microsoft has announced a new subscription service called Home Gold. Home Gold will allow XBL Gold members to share their subscription with others on their home console. Home Gold is tied to your XBL Gold account, your console and gamertag. It will allow other users in the same house to use the same XBL account which gives access to multiplayer features, apps, Game DVR and other features using their own gamertag. This seems like a compromised version of the family share plan which was scrapped with the Microsoft reversal.
