According to analyst reports on EA, it became apparent that Medal of Honor Warfighter has not lived up to expectations. The original game, Medal of Honor, sold over 5 million copies. However, Warfighter likely sold less than 3 million copies. Since the game’s release in October, EA has not announced official sales figures so determining exactly where the game is, is not easy to tell. It is known that the critical reception to Warfighter has been negative so that surely effected the numbers.
