San Diego Comic Con brought about more good news, this time for fans of the Marvel: Ultimate Alliance franchise. Both games are now available for current gen consoles and PC. Each game will cost $39.99 individually or $59.99 bundled together. The games were released digitally, however it’s unclear if the series will be released both digitally and on disc. Both games can be played cooperatively both locally and online. When asked about any changes to the game, executive producer for the Marvel: Ultimate Alliance series re-release, Mike Jones said:

We wanted these re-releases to be as faithful to the original Ultimate Alliance games as possible—the definitive versions. However, the team did work really hard on improving performance, some UI and graphic enhancements as well as making the games compatible with modern platform features on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. They play really smooth.

It doesn’t sound like a full HD remastering of the titles, but when asked if a new game would be coming for the series, Jones said “Following the footsteps of a proud Marvel tradition, I’ll say: Anything is possible, True Believers!”
