Nintendo of America president and COO Reggie Fils-Aime has come forward to confirm that since the launch of Mario Kart 8, Wii U sales have increased four times the normal amount. It was also mentioned that nearly 20% of all Wii U owners purchased the game the first week equaling roughly one million copies.
Impressive numbers and a much needed boost for the struggling console.
