The hotly anticipated sequel known to the fans as “Zone of the Enders 3” has been put “on hold” for the time being. The original announcement for the game was made back in May of 2012, however, since the announcement, there wasn’t much information released about the project.

Now, reports are coming out of Kojima Productions saying that the team has been dismantled (presumably to work on MGS5). Kojima also said he would like to¬†“re-evaluate the franchise before moving forward”. He would also like to “re-evaluate fans by asking once more whether they would still like to see a Zone of the Enders sequel”. Thankfully, there was no word that the project was permanently cancelled.
