Koch Media has just announced that Dead Island has sold over 5 million copies. This number combines both the retail and digital versions of the game. Koch Media took this announcement as proof that they can still make money at the end of the console lifespan. It also reinforces expectations for the next game in the Dead Island Franchise, Dead Island Riptide.
