If you were following, American McGee wanted to create a zombie game that took place in the Wizard of Oz universe. He brought that idea to Kickstarter to see if the fans would get behind the idea. Unfortunately, the developer Spicy Horse has cancelled the project. Based on the early performance of the project, the game was not going to get funded. However, Spicy Horse has other ambitions in mind including getting the film rights to Alice.
American McGee suggests that they may return to the project sometime in the future, but for now it looks like an Alice film is the developers top priority.
