Disney has just confirmed that Warren Spector’s Junction Point Studios is now closed. Polygon got the official word and the statement said, “These changes are part of our ongoing effort to address the fast-evolving gaming platforms and marketplace and to align resources against our key priorities.”
Epic Mickey 2 failed to connect with audiences and sold only 270,000 copies during its launch period. A PC port of Epic Mickey 2 was planned, but it is safe to say the project is in jeopardy. Our thoughts now go out to the 160 people who just lost their job.
