joe biden violent media tax

Given all of the shootings, bombings, and all-around crazy events of violence in the world these days, video games and violent media are once again in the cross-hairs of politicians, or perhaps they never really left. Either way in a meeting between Joe Biden and multiple national religious leaders, Mr. Vice President seemed in agreement about the notion that media and entertainment (video games included) that portray violence should have their own tax in which the money goes towards helping victims and their families. He went on to say that there was no legal reason preventing such an action either.

The Obama administration has been incredibly forward that violent media are a source of concern, but whether or not we will be seeing such a violent media tax in the future is yet to be seen. What are your thoughts on the issue? Drop a comment and let us know.
