Nintendo has a strong following around the world, but they have a particularly strong following in Japan. The weekly sales figures have been released and it is not good news for Nintendo. The WiiU sold 9,633 consoles last week, while the PlayStation Vita sold 11,456 units. This is the first time that this has happened, but experts believe that this is because of an exceptionally weak launch lineup. Major titles are still without release dates and the software continues to drip out of developers. Meanwhile, the seven-year-old PlayStation 3 sold 18,529 units. Things are not looking good for Nintendo.
