Infinity Ward has come forward on Twitter to confirm the rumors that Infinity Ward and Neversoft will be merging into one studio. The end result would be the retirement of the Neversoft name and the combined team would operate as Infinity Ward. Neversoft studio head Joel Jewett and studio director Scott Pease will also retire from the firm. There are still plenty of details to work out, but once we get them, we will let you know.
