guncraft

Exato Game Studios and Reverb Publishing have just announced that you can now pre-order the upcoming voxel-based shooter Guncraft. If you pre-order you will receive the “Cubetron Tileset” featuring an exclusive set of blocks for building Cubetron-style map levels, a Cubetron character skin, as well as a Cubetron rifle skin. The art style for these tiles is sort of a space-age, futuristic finish as the blocks are all black with a bright glowing blue highlight. If Guncraft is a game that you just can’t wait to get your hands on, the most notable pre-order bonus is that you will also get immediate access to the Beta with full use of the in-game vehicles, cooperative Onslaught Mode, and exclusive weekly character skin drops amongst other things.

Block and Load in Guncraft as the game marries the addictive nature of block building sandbox games with the speed and competition of modern first-person shooters, Guncraft has been wowing gamers in its on-going beta. Players can create arenas and levels based on anything they can think of, and once complete, utilize these stages for a fast-paced shooter. Players have all of the standard multiplayer shooter modes such as Deathmatch and Team Deathmatch, plus tons of custom loadouts, perks, plenty of weapons, vehicles and more. Even better, the core crafting mechanics of Guncraft are available in all game modes, enabling players to build maps, characters, and weapons on the fly and then decimate everything

While you can currently pre-order Guncraft at multiple places (Desura, GOG, Green Man Games, Rain Digital Games, Gamefly, and the Guncraft website), if you want to purchase on Steam, you will need to help ‘vote it up’ on Steam Greenlight.

Lastly a new “Crafty vs Spades” vignette has been released, bringing the count up to three. We have combined all three into a single short video below for your viewing pleasure. Guncraft is set to officially launch on July 11, 2013 for Windows PC.
