Japanese mobile developer, Gree, has just announced that they will be closing their Chinese Studio on June 28th. According to the report, the studio has led to an “extraordinary loss” for the company and has under performed for the mobile developer. The company did not specify what titles will be effected by the studio closure. Gree is hoping this move can help the company focus on the momentum being created by their US-based studio, though the company has recently downsized that studio by 30 employees as well.

We wish the best for those developers affected by the closure.
