Gearbox CEO Randy Pitchford teased some new details about the next Borderlands game. He confirmed that, “Obviously, there is going to be another Borderlands.” He also warned against getting too attached to that name, as he added, “We don’t even know if we’re going to call it that.”

Additionally, Scott Kester was confirmed as art director for the yet to be named Borderlands sequel; he was the art director for Borderlands 2 as well.

Lastly, we learned that Gearbox chief creative champion Mikey Neumann, who wrote Gearbox’s mainline Brothers in Arms games, is writing the next Borderlands; he wrote the first Borderlands.

We’re as excited for the new Borderlands as you are, and it’s great to see some familiar faces returning!
