GameStop is one of the largest video game retailers in the market but that didn’t stop bad news from being released about the company. Reports today state that there was a decline in store traffic which lead to holiday sales falling 4.6 percent to $2.88 billion. Still a fair amount of money but a 5% decline in sales is significant. Reports also mentioned that the market for pre-owned video games shrank 15.6 percent. It seems the anti-used games tactics employed by publishers is working.
