According to an intercepted GameStop memo, the company has been instructed to keep taking pre-orders for the system, beyond the store allocated amounts. The memo specifically said ”Starting now, through this weekend and until further notice, Sony has allowed us to take unlimited preorders beyond your current allotments.”
To add some truth to this report, Sony Computer Entertainment America CEO Jack Tretton said earlier this week that GameStop plans to buy every single PS4 that Sony can manufacture. However, Tretton did say that PS4 demand may outstrip supply, so make sure you get out there and buy your console!
