GameStick was pushing hard to get the jump on OUYA and be the first Android-based gaming console on the market. However, things didn’t go as planned according to the latest Kickstarter update.  GameStick came forward and said it would miss its expected April launch window, and will be released on June 10. They further qualified the message by stating that many pre-orders should be shipped and received by the last week in June.

This is unfortunate news seeing as how they would beaten the OUYA and had the chance to be the first Android console on the market. What do you think? Did you pre-order the console? If so are you disappointed by the news?
