Well according to Rovio, the Angry Birds development team, over 30 million downloads of Angry Birds games occurred during Christmas week (December 22-29). Of that number, 8 million happened on Christmas Day. These are massive numbers and it yields some impressive statistics. Of all the 17.4 million phones sold for Christmas, just about half of them downloaded this game. Congratulations Rovio on a job well done.
