Square Enix officially announced that Success Corporation is working on the browser-based, free-to-play Kingdom Hearts X (Chi). The news came from the announcement that Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 Remix will come with bonus items for Chi.

First print copies of HD 1.5 Remix include a code for a Sora (R+) card, 20,000 munny, and 4,000 card draw points. If you purchase Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 Remix from Square Enix directly, you get a Riku (R+) card, 10 potions, and 10 ethers.

Cards like Sora and Riku can be used in battles. Munny is used to synthesize cards and draw points can be exchanged for cards. Potions restore your energy to do actions and ether recovers your power for battle.

Kingdom Hearts X (Chi) will contain a micro-transaction system for powering up your characters faster, but playing the game is still completely free.
