Grand Theft Auto IV – An open world action-adventure video game published by Rockstar Games. In this open world, you play as Nico Bellick a Russian and ex-military who migrated to the United States, looking for the good life. He ends up in the criminal environment he tried to escape from by leaving Europe. The game consists out of three big islands that are unlocked after completing missions. The Free roaming style of this game and no rule’s approach makes this is a must have to any playstation 3 owners collection.
Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune – The action-adventure video game developed by Naughty Dog. This third-person action-adventure game, charts the journey of protagonist Nathan Drake as he seeks the lost treasure of El Dorado, with the help of Elena Fisher and Victor “Sully” Sullivan. With the mixture of guns, puzzles and an Indana Jones type feel to it; this game feels more like you are watching a movie then playing a video game.
Final Fantasy XIII – The role-playing video game developed by Square Enix. The game takes place in the fictional floating world of Cocoon, where the government “The Sanctum” is ordering a purge of civilians who have supposedly come into contact with Pulse, the feared world below. Lightning a former soldier fights against the Sanctum in order to save her sister who has been branded as an unwilling servant to a god-like being from Pulse, making her an enemy of Cocoon. If you love RPGs then this is the game for you, with the newly upgraded combat system, and gorgeous graphics and winner of countless “Game Of the Year” Awards, there is little more that needs to be said about this game.
Batman Arkham Asylum – The action-adventure stealth video game based on the superhero Batman. Arkham Asylum is based off the long-running comic book written by Paul Dini. This is not just the classic button smashing superhero game we grew up with; this is an action-packed adventure where you play as Batman, who must regain control of Arkham Asylum the home of Batman’s greatest foes. Even if you are not a fan of the Bat, everyone should try this game and under 25 bucks theres no reason not too.
Little Big Planet – The puzzle platformer created by Media Molecule, No matter how old you are, if you play a lot of video games or just once in a blue moon to kill some time this is the game to have. This side scrolling puzzle game has endless possibilities which the players upload their ideas for maps, missions and out right fun things to do.
