Disney has just announced that Disney Infinity, the Disney-branded answer to Activision’s Skylanders, is delayed until August. Specifically, the North American release to August 18 and the European release to August 20. The New York Times reports the reason for the delay is that the August timeline is more favorable. Disney Interactive Co-President John Pleasants said, “We could deliver in June if we wanted to. Will a two-month timing change help us? Sure, of course. It gives us a little more time to add bells and whistles and make sure it really sings and pops.”
