For a limited time and with certain titles, those that buy a PlayStation 3 game of title that came out for both the PS3 and the PS4, will be able to purchase the PS4 digital version for a vastly reduced price. Sony CEO Andrew House made the announcement at the Sony Gamescom press conference today. So far, this deal will apply to Call of Duty: Ghosts, Watch Dogs, Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag and Battlefield 4. Publishers such as Activision, Ubisoft, EA and Warner Brothers have already committed to this program.

More details are expected before the consoles launch.
