Crytek Looking to Bid on Darksiders IP

Crytek USA boss David Adams tweeted today:

As you heard, after THQ sold off everything it owned, Vigil Games was purchased and absorbed by Crytek to become Crytek USA. Now it seems that the ex-Vigil team wants to own the franchise. It only seems fitting in a pretty bad situation. Does this mean that they want to do more with the IP?
