While things were relatively smooth for everyone once Battlefield Hardline launched on all platforms, things were rather rocky for Xbox One owners. Many players reported connectivity issues and it turns out that the Xbox One servers for the game were undergoing a DDoS attack. Visceral Games identified the source and tweeted: “We’ve identified the connectivity issues on Xbox One are due to DDoS attack and working to resolve. Apologies for the inconvenience.”

There is no official word when the game will be back up and running, but at least the developers know where the problem is and that could be half the battle.
