Since Battlefield 4 was a 2014 release, there was already some speculation that this game was going to be a PlayStation 4 title. Today, Electronic Arts Frank Gibeau posted a blog entry on EA’s blog, he said: [gn_quote style="1"]At a GameStop company meeting earlier this week, we gave 500 store managers a sneak peak at Battlefield 4. The game received a huge ovation and thousands of fans reacted to a single enthusiastic Tweet by GameStop’s CEO.[/gn_quote] This leads us to believe that Battlefield 4 is a next-gen title. It isn’t to say that it won’t also come out on the PlayStation 3, but signs are pointing to an appearance on the new console.
