Speculation and emotions are running high as we get closer to the release of the next generation of gaming. Uncertainty is rampant, but Wedbush Morgan analyst Michael Pachter seems to think he has a grasp on the situation. He believes Microsoft is prepared to cut the Xbox One price in 2014 if sales of the console doesn’t keep pace with the PS4. Pachter also believes that the Xbox One and PS4 will sell similar amounts of consoles despite the price difference. Why again? Because of the inclusion of the Kinect in the Xbox price.

What do you think of this speculation. Does is have merit or is it flawed? Let us know in the comments below.
