Borderlands: The Handsome Collection launches this Friday, and anyone planning on picking the game up should expect a hefty day one patch, Eurogamer reports.

The Playstation 4 version has an 8.3GB patch, while the Xbox One gets a whopping 16GB. That figure is comprised of 3GB for Borderlands 2 and 13GB for Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel. A spokesperson for Gearbox says they “strongly recommend” downloading the patch before you start playing.

The patch’s size is mostly thanks to the newest DLC that was completed too late to be included on the disc: the Claptastic Voyage add-on campaign, which comes with the Ultimate Vault Hunter Upgrade Pack 2. This raises the level cap by 10, and lets players adventure deep inside whatever fractured construct Claptrap can call a mind.

These day one patches are rounded out by numerous bug fixes for both consoles. Find the full notes for the Xbox One version here and the Playstation 4 version here.

Additionally, these patches make some (but not all) bosses in The Pre-Sequel farmable, respawning when players enter and exit the areas.

The final addition is the ability for any season pass owners of Tales From The Borderlands to get access to loot in The Handsome Collection on the corresponding platform.
